How to Report SPAM
All emails that are considered SPAM but are mistakenly delivered should be reported as SPAM (false-negative) to help improve the system’s SPAM detection.
To report a SPAM message, you need to send a copy of the message as an attachment with its full headers to the following email address: spam@mailcleaner.net
MailCleaner was designed as a community-driven and collaborative anti-SPAM software.
MailCleaner maintains several databases that learn and improve SPAM detection over time.
When users report SPAM, MailCleaner aggregates that information and makes it available to all users worldwide.
It is easy to report SPAM to the MailCleaner system from your email client by simply forwarding it to spam@mailcleaner.net as an attachment.
Below are examples for different email clients:
- Outlook 2013-2016: In the message, near the "Forward" button, click "More ▼" and then select "Forward as Attachment".
- Outlook 2007-2010: Click on the SPAM message, from the Home tab, click on the "More ▼" button (under the Reply category), and then select "Forward as Attachment".
- Thunderbird: Right-click on the SPAM message, select "Message Forwarding Format: Attachment".
- Other clients: Look for the "Forward as Attachment" option.
