Your email is protected by a multi-layer spam filtering system:
- Proxmox Mail Gateway (PMG) — Your email first passes through our dedicated spam filter, which blocks viruses, checks sender reputation against global blacklists, and scores suspicious messages.
- SpamAssassin — Messages that pass the first filter are scored by SpamAssassin on our mail server. It analyzes content, links, headers, and sender patterns.
- Spam Folder Delivery — Messages identified as spam are delivered to your Spam folder instead of being deleted. You can review them anytime.
How to Check Your Spam Folder
Roundcube Webmail
Access at https://mail.YOURDOMAIN/roundcube/
- Look for the Spam folder in the left sidebar
- Click on it to see filtered messages
- Drag messages to Inbox if they're not spam
Outlook / Thunderbird / Apple Mail
- Your Spam folder should appear automatically under your inbox
- If not visible, subscribe to it: Right-click your account → Subscribe → check "Spam"
Mobile (iPhone / Android)
- Go to your email account → look for the Spam or Junk folder
- On iPhone: Settings → Mail → your account → verify the "Junk" mailbox is enabled
How to Whitelist a Sender (Stop Marking as Spam)
- Login to your SiteWorx panel at
https://YOURDOMAIN:2443/siteworx/ - Go to Email → SpamAssassin
- Under Whitelist, add the sender's email address
- Click Save
How to Adjust Spam Sensitivity
- Login to SiteWorx → Email → SpamAssassin
- Change Required Score:
- 3 = Very aggressive (catches more spam, higher false positive risk)
- 5 = Recommended (default, good balance)
- 7 = Relaxed (less spam caught, fewer false positives)
- Click Save
I'm Not Receiving an Expected Email
- Check your Spam folder first — most "missing" emails are there
- Check with the sender — ask them to verify the email address and try resending
- Contact support — we can check our mail gateway quarantine and server logs to trace the message
