Block an E-mail Address from Sending to your Domain

  1. Click the Administration menu item if it is not already open.
  2. Click the Mail Options menu item if it is not already open.
  3. Click the Filters menu item.
  4. Enter the desired e-mail address or partial e-mail address you want to block in the box labeled "Block e-mail with sender containing:".
  5. Click the button.
  6. You will see your blocked sender listed under the Blocked Senders section.

Block E-mail Containing Certain Text in the Message Subject
  1. Click the Administration menu item if it is not already open.
  2. Click the Mail Options menu item if it is not already open.
  3. Click the Filters menu item.
  4. Enter the desired subject text or partial text you want to block in the box labeled "Block e-mail with subject containing:".
  5. Click the button.
  6. You will see your blocked subject listed under the Blocked Subjects section.


The user may want filtered messages to be deleted immediately, or to be treated like Spam messages, and delivered to a Spam IMAP folder, if one exists.

Add an E-mail Box
  1. Click the Administration menu item if it is not already open.
  2. Click the Mail Options menu item if it is not already open.
  3. Click the Filters menu item.
  4. Locate the section with the two radio buttons with the label "Action for blocked e-mail:".
  5. Check the radio box to set the action to the preferred setting.
  6. The change will commit as soon as you click the button.
  7. You will see the following message at the top of the screen: Filter Action Updated
