The user can set two delivery options for emails tagged as spam. When an email is marked as spam, it is assigned a "spam score." This score reflects how "confident" the software is that the email is actually spam. The higher the spam score, the more confident the software is that the message is indeed spam.
The first option is to send the tagged spam message to an IMAP "Spam" folder, if the user has one created for their mailbox. If the user does not have a Spam IMAP folder, the spam message will be sent to the user's Inbox. Spam is never deleted before it reaches the user.
The second option is to specify a maximum spam score that still allows email messages to be delivered. Emails with a spam score higher than this threshold will be deleted upon arrival and will never be seen by the user.

Purpose
When an email message is tagged as spam, the spam tagging software can alter the message format in several ways.
The first option is to modify the spam-tagged message and deliver it as a normal email.
The second option is to create a new "report" message and attach the original message as an attachment.
The third option is to create a new report and attach the original message in "plain text" mode. This can make opening attachments in the spam-tagged message more difficult, which can be beneficial for the average user since attachments in messages that are likely spam may be harmful, especially if the message contains a virus.
