Costa Rica Servers Featured News: Maya-1 Sub-cable Maintenance Window

CR Servers has been informed of a preventive maintenance window that will be undertaken by the consortium that operates the MAYA-1 submarine cable.

The maintenance work will begin on Friday September 26 at 10pm (GMT -6) and will finalize at 6am (GMT -6) on Sunday September 28, 2014.

The estimated impact of this maintenance window is considered to be minimal as the remaining capacity for international traffic should be enough to support normal traffic over the weekend.

However, due to an increased utilization of available capacity, during peak traffic hours , there is an expected increase in service latency.
