We will be performing scheduled maintenance to update our distribution switch.

During this window we will restart the router (~2 minutes) and update the switch (~2–3 minutes). We will rely on our high-availability setup to minimize impact, though brief interruptions may occur while systems fail over.
Why this matters: This maintenance upgrades the switch firmware and software, and adds an additional layer of high availability and redundancy to our distribution switches. Once complete, maintenance windows of this type will no longer be required in the future.
