We're excited to announce that we've expanded our VPS Linux operating system catalog. You can now choose from 14 OS versions across 7 distributions when ordering a new VPS or rebuilding an existing one.
What's new
- Ubuntu 26.04 LTS — our newest Ubuntu long-term support release
- Fedora Linux 44 — the latest community-driven Fedora release
- openSUSE Leap 16.0 — an enterprise-grade SUSE-based option
- Oracle Linux 10.1 — free, Oracle-backed enterprise Linux (available on Medium VPS plans and larger)
Full current lineup
- Ubuntu: 26.04, 24.04, 22.04 LTS
- Debian: 13, 12
- Rocky Linux: 10.2, 9.8, 8
- AlmaLinux: 10.2, 9.8, 8
- Oracle Linux: 10.1 (Medium plan and above)
- Fedora Linux: 44
- openSUSE Leap: 16.0
Every image ships with cloud-init pre-configured, so your VPS boots ready to use with your SSH key and network settings already applied.
Note: Ubuntu 20.04 and Debian 11 are being phased out for new orders as they approach end-of-life. If you're currently running one of these, consider rebuilding on a newer release when convenient.
You can select any of these operating systems when placing a new VPS order. Need help migrating an existing VPS to a different OS? Open a support ticket and our team will be happy to assist.
Thank you for choosing CR Servers!
